Starting a new journey in Hyderabad

Me (Syed’s Calligraphy) and Sameer Mehta decided to organize a Calligraphy meet up where everyone can meet new Calligraphers, and use different Calligraphy tools and experience new stuff in Calligraphy.

The main purpose of this meet up was to unite all Calligraphers from Hyderabad and bring them on same floor , so that we can create a big Calligraphy community to work on the awareness of this lost art.

We announced about the meet just a day before the actual date… There wasn’t much time for many Calligraphers to adjust their time and schedule to attend the meet. Yet 9 Calligraphers apart of me and Sameer came and shared their knowledge and enjoyed the experience of meeting new Calligraphers.

Some others were Calligraphy enthusiasts , they came to experience what is calligraphy.

I m sure Everyone enjoyed their time with us and had a glimpse of how much fun Calligraphy can be.

We enjoyed doing calligraphy on several different papers, tried new inks also tried new scripts and old scripts. It was fun writing everyone’s names and seeing their reactions .

After the meet up we all decided to organize one meet every month so that we can meet and have fun and try to increase the number of Calligraphers in Hyderabad .
